Safety primer dispenser made of high-strength, 3mm thick Lexan, compliant with the new safety regulations of the German Shooting Federation and the MLAIC.
Outer diameter 20.0mm, inner diameter 14.0mm, overall length 110mm, length without valve 96mm.
To fill the pan, the valve is gently pressed onto the pan bottom, dispensing approximately 3 grains of primer. The valve (our item 06-33) is pressed into the cap.
The base of the primer dispenser consists of a 6mm thick Lexan lid, held in place by an O-ring.
In the event of accidental ignition of the primer, the 3mm thick body of the primer dispenser protects the hand, while the pressure is dissipated to the rear through the base, which is held only by an O-ring.
In the past, there have been several instances of metal primer bottles exploding in the shooter's hand due to handling errors.
(Therefore, the burning matchlocks on matchlock weapons must ALWAYS be removed).
